Stephanie's Potato Soup

4 med baked potatoes
2 slices bacon
1 (14-oz) can chicken broth
1 clove garlic
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Remove skin and mash potatoes.  Cook bacon and crubmle.
Put chopped celery and onions in a pot, add chicken broth, milk, potatoes, salt, pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and bacon
